Senate ERA Vote

Sandy Pappas called a vote on SF323 "Equality under the law shall not be abridged or denied on account of sex​" and here it is: ​This was a move to get SF323 out of committee to the Senate General Orders and bypass a committee hearing. With a Republican majority, they are not holding hearings on any ERA bills so this is one way to try to move it forward. There is still a chance to get other ERA bills heard this way but likely the same outcome. There is still the chance of a conference committee when we get a vote on the House floor. Speaker Hortman assured us that she would schedule a MN House floor vote.
